In our conversation with Ricardo Musse, we know the biography of Karl Marx and discuss the content and relevance of his works as a fundamental reference for understanding capitalism. What makes an author Marxist was another topic we worked on together with Musse, as well as whether Marxism is a philosophy or a science and what is the place of dialectics in Marxism. Bearing in mind the role of Marxist culture and public debate, we discuss the current presence of intellectuals in the public sphere and what are the current channels for the dissemination of Marxist thought. We also talk about his latest book, Trajectories of European Marxism.
