In our conversation with Valério Arcary, we discussed the impacts of Donald Trump's election in the United States, its effects on Brazil and the global scenario. We analyzed the position of China and the BRICS in this post-election context, seeking to understand how the main global powers tend to position themselves in the coming years. Amidst the increase in geopolitical tensions, we reflected on the possibility of a new global armed conflict, in addition to addressing the reality of the war in Ukraine and the genocide in Palestine.

Next, we turn our attention to Brazil, analyzing the political situation of Jair Bolsonaro and Bolsonarism after the indictment of the former president, as well as Pablo Marçal's progress in the 2023 municipal elections. Finally, we conclude with considerations about the Lula government, Guilherme Boulos' campaign and the importance of a young left, which shows that it is far from being overcome.

The Israel-Iran conflict
By EDUARDO BRITO, KAIO AROLDO, LUCAS VALLADARES, OSCAR LUIS ROSA MORAES SANTOS and LUCAS TRENTIN RECH: The Israeli attack on Iran is not an isolated event, but rather another chapter in the dispute for control of fossil capital in the Middle East

Chinese-style modernization
By LU XINYU: Although socialism originated in Europe, “Chinese-style modernization” represents its successful implementation in China, exploring ways to break free from the shackles of capitalist globalization.

What is the quality of Qualis?
By FLÁVIO R. KOTHE: If Qualis measures quality by metrics that ignore the originality of thought, then we are faced with a system that canonizes mediocrity. While Spinoza, Marx and Nietzsche are remembered for having been rejected by their peers, the Brazilian academy celebrates articles that obey empty formulas
Michelle Bolsonaro
By RICARDO NÊGGO TOM: For the neo-Pentecostal power project, Michelle Bolsonaro already has the faith of many evangelicals that she is a woman anointed by God
