habemus presidentum

President Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva knows that it is not possible to build a just and egalitarian nation in isolation

Edward Said, in orientalism, reports that until the end of the XNUMXth century, geography was a “boring and pedantic” field of knowledge. But in our time it has become “the most cosmopolitan of all sciences”. Politicians who behave like statesmen and travel the planet, opening doors and extending their hand, talking to rulers about the need to form a world political front to combat hunger and the rise of the extreme right, in defense of democracy, understand that without understanding geography it is impossible to do history. Without arguing humanist values, the traditional oratory about citizenship never goes beyond the barrier of hypocrisy.

Just as capital always knew that it needed new markets to be explored, Leon Trotsky recognized that it was not possible to build socialism in a single country. Solidarity must have an expansionist and collaborative character at the international level, among oppressed countries. Likewise, President Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva knows that it is not possible to build a just and egalitarian nation in isolation. After six years, under the coup paws of Michel Temer and the genocidal boots in the pandemic / ecocide in the Amazon rainforest by Jair Bolsonaro, the unforgivable ostracism to which we were subjected is gone. However, it left sequels, setbacks, dirt on the carpet.

Now another genocide carried out with premeditation comes to light in the press, that of the original Yanomami ethnic group, the result of illegal mining that (de)kills the forest and infects the water with mercury. As found in locus President Lula: “Adults weighing like children, children dying from malnutrition, malaria, diarrhea and other diseases. The little data available indicates that at least 570 children under five years of age lost their lives in the Yanomami territory, with illnesses that could have been avoided”. The government promises to recruit doctors to assist the population in extermination. The PT bench in the Chamber of Deputies filed a criminal complaint against Bolsonaro and the former Minister of Women, Family and Human Rights for their total negligence.

According to indigenous leader Júnior Hekurari, many people in the community were murdered by prospectors and girls were raped to death. With impunity, because the Federal Police received orders from the Planalto Palace to ignore the crimes. “More than a humanitarian crisis, what I saw in Roraima was the premeditated genocide against the Yanomami, perpetrated by an insensitive government”, concludes Lula. Our people got rid of the sociopathic clowns in power, the “elites” mongrel colonial complex and climate denialism. However, those responsible are still witty and facetious.

The first trip abroad of the current president is emblematic. Looking at Argentina, with which we have political, commercial and cultural ties, he announced the resumption of integration articulations with the Common Market of the South (Mercosur), the Union of South American Nations (Unasur) and the Community of Latin American States. Americans and Caribbeans (CELAC). In Buenos Aires, at the Celac meeting, the decision was communicated to the countries related to the multilateral: European Union (EU), China, India, Association of Southeast Asian Nations (Asean) and African Union (AU).

In the Buenos Aires metropolis, Lula declared that he will normalize the diplomatic dialogue with Venezuela and Cuba to reestablish partnerships with cooperation. Along with Argentine President Alberto Fernández, he signed the document of the “two sister nations” to initiate studies with a view to a common currency in Latin America. The objective is to use it for financial and commercial flows, in order to reduce operational costs through a de-dollarization process and also to safeguard against external vulnerability. When Argentina and Brazil close the agreement, similarly to what happened between France and Germany in Europe, the same will be offered to the countries of the bloc. Only rentism is the opposite. This is thinking with genuine geopolitical flair.

The topic involves fiscal issues, the size of economies and the role of central banks. Latin America represents 5% of the global Gross Domestic Product (GDP). For a comparison, the European Union which is the world's largest currency union, the euro, comprises 15% of the world's GDP. In February, Lula is scheduled to travel to Washington, at the invitation of US President Joe Biden. In March, she will travel to Beijing to meet Chinese President Xi-Jinping. In summary: habemus presidentum.

The pickaxes without political vocation or intellectual stature, predecessors of the hope of return on October 30, ended their meager mandates in the Presidency of the Republic with the economy in the thirteenth position. The country grew like a horse's tail, downwards, after the coup that ousted the honest president and removed from the race the candidate who dominated the polls for voting intentions in the elections, in 2018. It is easy to infer strategic economic interests (external, for example). obvious) embedded in the media campaign to spread anti-PTism in “published opinion” and the lawfare lawsuit against the PT and, by extension, the left in general. With the unlikely worker, we reached the sixth position in the ranking of the economy, surpassing even the cradle of capitalism, England.

the truth will win, was the title of Lula's book sent to Pope Francis, in the year of the unjust arrest that had the connivance of the Federal Regional Court (TRF-4). The camp of social fighters erected in front of the headquarters of the Federal Police, in Curitiba, denounced the farce every hour. And, by irony of fate, it gave rise to the approximation of the couple that made the hearts of the weakened nation beat.

National engineering and infrastructure companies that competed for market in the North and South hemispheres were destroyed: Norberto Odebrecht, Andrade & Gutierrez, etc. To celebrate the American oil companies, Petrobras and the pre-salt were sliced, the discovery that brought the very promising autonomy of fossil fuels to the country. The “fifth column in Madrid” of ordinary agents of the bureaucratic apparatus of Justice, part of the lese-patria scheme, in the expectation of appropriating billions of reais for personal projects of power, almost succeeded in its intention. It was barred by the Federal Supreme Court (STF), which explains the war on the institution promoted by neo-fascism, with an audience in the robotic bubbles of Bolsonarists who violently broke the social fabric.

After 580 days, the truth finally won. The Supreme Court admitted the spurious criminal frame set up by scoundrels, in shady collusion against an innocent man whose great “sin” was to implement public policies to overcome the serious social, economic, cultural and regional inequalities that have embarrassed, since ancient times, the sense of Brazilianness of authentic patriots – workers with or without a formal work permit, in this quadrant of cynic traitors.

The mission of deconstruction and destruction was the responsibility of patriots, enemies of culture and the arts, guided by conspirators and algorithms to generate militants on an industrial scale. The financiers were business sectors benefiting from official funds from the corrupt and cowardly mismanagement of the president, now a refugee in Orlando. A million weapons were distributed to the good people fake, under the period of obscurantism. There was no shortage of prayers for tires, literally, and messages for UFOs. The scum oscillated between comedy and tragedy. Google it.

Nevertheless, the wheel of history has turned. The torturers (“Doutor Ubirajara” and “Capitão Lisboa”) of political prisoners in the 1970s, at DOI-Codi, have just been convicted at the 7th Federal Civil Court of São Paulo. They are obliged to indemnify “Brazilian society” in R$ 1 million. Among the victims of torture was journalist Vladimir Herzog. The richest men in the country (Carlos Sucupira, Jorge Lemann and Marcel Telles), partners in the parent company of the Americanas retail chain, diverted R$ 1 billion from that to shareholders. They were caught with their hands in the cruse. Eduardo Moreira calculates that at least R$300 million landed in the accounts of billionaire meritocrats; at the time they secretly covered up a fabulous fraud in companies, in the amount of R$ 20 billion.

The surrendering direction of Petrobras, in the quadrennium of family militia, acted the same by lining the pockets of foreign investors in the oil company, preventing it from replenishing oil and gas stocks and investing in production. The stinky bourgeoisie, with a swimming pool full of rats as Cazuza warned, is behind anti-PTism the day before yesterday and, yesterday, the terrorism carried out for pay in Praça dos Três Poderes, in Brasília. The insubordination of General Júlio César (ops) de Arruda prevented the arrest in flagrante in the luxury cabin of terrorists, under the protection of the HQ on January 8th. Dismissed from command of the Army, he was already late for home. It is no coincidence that the super-tapping of members of the Public Ministry and the Judiciary terrifies the accomplices in the toga, in the investigation carried out in full effect by the president of the Superior Electoral Court (TSE), Alexandre de Moraes. Earth moves to the left.

Signs that Brazil has woken up from the fratricidal nightmare. The state made peace with civil society. We regain our dignity, inside and out. Lula's life and leadership matter. The ship goes.
