Born in São Paulo in 1945, he graduated as an architect in 1967, participates in exhibitions since the Young Contemporary Art of Mac USP in 1966, in the same year he founded with Wesley Lee, Nelson Leirner, Geraldo de Barros, Carlos Fajardo and Frederico Nasser a Rez Gallery & sounds. His first individual exhibition takes place at MASP SP and MAM Rio de Janeiro in 1974. He participates in numerous collective and individual exhibitions, in several São Paulo Biennials, in addition to those in Paris, Sydney, Documenta and Venice, and in several museums here and abroad. outside. His last exhibition entitled “A Retrospective of Unpublished Works” took place at the Pinacoteca do Estado de S.Paulo in 2015, the year that reached 50 years of uninterrupted professional activities. He has several works in public spaces in S.Paulo, Rio de Janeiro and Porto Alegre, in addition to works that belong to the collections of MAM in S.Paulo and MAM in Rio, Museu do Açude in Rio, Hakone Open Air Museum in Japan and MOMA in N.York.
