By GUILHERME E. MEYER*

A poem

the fate of those who want to stop time is traced
but it's not irreversible
our destiny is another
an open destiny fruit of mourning and struggle
for the dream of a world without capitalism
a world where the dead can finally rest
in which living can live
and who will come later can remember
that in the face of the resurgence of fascism
we never gave up or accepted
that it was over
